Sleeps four, sand at door. My one bedroom condo is ground level on the sand in Indian
Rocks Beach. IRB is located on the 20 mile long barrier island that runs
from Clearwater Beach to St. Pete’s Beach. This Gulf front condo is 28 miles from the
Tampa airport and 17 miles from the Clearwater/St. Pete airport.
"Old Florida” is the term used to describe a slow paced, no high rise, community
approach to natural resources. Our 8 unit building is a fine example of 50’s FL, that
retains it convenience and charm along with comfortable up dates.
Walk out the door onto the beach. You will not have to deal with elevators and
parking garages. You may meet your neighbors and maybe make new friends or
enjoy the solitude of a private spot.
Indian Rocks Beach is small town America. There is a museum, park and gazebo. You
can walk between the intercoastal and the coast. There is a trolley that runs the length of
the island.

Just because the "Shack on the Sand" is
booked doesn't mean you don't have any
other options. Unit # 6, the "Stacked Shack"
is directly above mine. It is a one bedroom,
direct beach front, end unit. There is a cook
and eat on porch with table, chairs, electric
grill and fantastic view.
Some people prefer the "Stacked Shack"
because of the price or the higher
perspective. It sometimes rents for less than
my unit # 3, and the rental periods are a bit
more flexible. This is also the perfect option
for the larger group that needs more than
one unit.
Unit # 6 has a queen bed and queen sleeper
sofa. This unit will sleep 4 people. The large
porch and killer view make it a special spot to
visit.
